Clay Jewelry Collection

Today I thought of sharing all jewelry that I have created with the terracotta clay. Making anything with clay is fun and exciting for me and the best part is that you can mold clay into any shape of your choice and can make something very beautiful from it. So let’s have a look at some earring designs and some of them I have already shared on my blog.

For the very first time, I tried making something with the clay was Multi-color Earrings. These earrings has variety of shades which makes them perfect for western as well as ethnic wear. You can customize them as per your wish by changing colors.

Next is Blue spiral Earrings which is kind of big studs. It is quite tricky to make but once made looks awesome and the best part is you can play with the colors. I have used the classic combination of blue and pink color. One thing that I have used pearl colors which gives the shiny effect to them but you can use any color.

Next earrings are my personal favorite and these are Peacock Earrings. I have named them so because of its color which is mix of sea green, blue and black that reminds us of a peacock. Black pearl at the top is made up of clay only but you can use any kind of pearl here. While making the leaf part, you can use any sharp point object to make small leaf like lines on its surface. Detailing on the leaf makes it more elegant along with its simplicity. You can team up them with any style of clothing.

Next is Black and White Studs which I have already posted on here. You can go back and check it out anytime. These cute studs are good for daily college wear and when you don’t want to burden your ears with anything heavy.

Orange Hoop Earrings is again I have already shared on this blog. These are funky hoop earrings that goes well with variety of clothing. Again you can play with the colors and designs.

Jhumkas are in trend these days and here is the clay jhumakas. Out of all earrings, these jhumkas will need sometime and precision to be prepared. Each part of this jhumka are made up of clay and these are super light while wearing. Be extra careful while making little golden pearls at the bottom of jhumkas because clay starts drying after sometime and become tight as well. Magenta color is a universal color with golden design that can be team up with any color.

Last is Statement Ring which again I have already shared on the blog.

You can play with the terracotta clay and design your imagination into anything. You just have to give shape to the clay and connect them like with an eye pin or hair pin if you are making jewelry.  When all done, apply varnish onto it to make more secure and durable but this step is optional and you can skip it. I hope you all liked them and do try your hands on them.

Happy DIY!!
