Hour Glass from Waste Plastic Bottles

What if you get something for nothing? You will be like 'Yes, Why not!!'. Today I have something like that and showing you all to use a waste material into something more meaningful. We all have plastic bottles in our home scattered here and there which is super annoying sometimes. So let me show you how to turn these useless Plastic bottles into an Hour Glass. This DIY is going be quite exciting and fun to work on.

Now the materials that you will need for this DIY are as follows:
  • Two Plastic Bottles (of same Size)
  • Cutter
  • Scissor
  • Cardboard
  • Black Paper
  • Semolina or Sand or Salt
  • Hot Glue Gun and Glue Sticks
  • Glitter Outliners- Golden, Blue and Magenta
  • Golden String
All the material are very basic and readily available.  The powder thing that is added into the hour glass, is sand in actual but if you don't have sand with you then you can use semolina or salt like me. One thing that must be told here that as the plastic around the mouth of the plastic bottles is quite thick so cutting with a cutter will not be possible. So first heat up the cutter on the flame and then use it to cut the plastic. It will be a lot easier to cut but do this with care and safety.

This DIY is already there on our YouTube channel and also sharing that video in this post. Do try this super DIY hour Glass and let us know your feed back. Do like and share this video with your friends, family and others.
