Today, we will see how to make a
cute Holder that’s too easy to make. You can use it anywhere to organize
things. Let’s look at the procedure:
Step 1: Take a foam sheet and cut
a circle out it of diameter 22 cm.
Step 2: Fold the circle half and
put little cuts on the ends with the scissor. Do this for three more times by
folding the circle half horizontally, diagonally or vertically and matching up
the cuts. Consider the Image provided below and fold the circle where red line
is marked. Then make a small cut where the black line is marked. At the end of this step, you must have eight
small cuts on the circle.
Step 3: Now, fold the circle such
that two consecutive cuts come one above the other and make a cut at folded
corner or the middle of the two holes. Do this for each and every cut. Follow the
figure in the image below where middle points of two consecutive cuts are the
yellow dots.
Step 4: Mark the cuts with the
pen to make visibility more clear. Take a ruler and mark a point 4 cm away from
the cut. Then join the cut and the point. Do this for every cut.
Step 5: With the help of a scissor,
cut each and every line drawn in the previous step. Make sure to cut only the
marked line. In this way, small sections of the circle are created.
Step 6: Mark two points on a
section towards the side edges. Using punching machine, make a hole at both the
points. Do this for each section.
Step 7: Take a string to bind the
holder together. Overlap two sections by overlapping their holes as shown in
the image. Insert the string into this overlapped hole from outside. Then after
this, again overlap the section in which you have inserted the string with the
next section by overlapping their holes. Insert the string into this hole by continuing
with the previous direction. In simple words, insert the string as if you are
stitching the holder. Follow the image for better understanding.
Step 8: Once each hole has been covered,
then tie the knot at the end and form a nice bow.
You can store anything in this
holder like hairbands, beads, marbles, etc.
Happy DIY!!
