Black & Silver Studs

Here I am once again with one more Earrings and this time it’s a Stud. When you don’t want to wear those heavy and long earrings then these stud earrings come to your rescue. Today I am sharing how to make terracotta stud earrings on your own at home. So have a look at the ready Black and Silver Studs.

Following are the items you will need for making terracotta studs:
  •         M-seal Clay
  •          Needle
  •          Earring Studs with Stoppers
  •          Pearl and Acrylic Colors
  •          Paint Brushes

Step 1: Take any talcum powder and knead the clay properly. Make a flat circle and draw two small sized leaves on the circle with a pencil or any needle. Cut these shapes and your base of studs are ready. You can correct the shape using your hands.

Step 2: Insert the earring studs at the back of these two shapes such that flat end of stud is completely inside the clay. You can make any design on these shapes using a needle. It’s completely optional but make sure that you make design on clay when it is soft and not dried. Let it dry for a day as it is.

Step 3: Now use any color of pearl and acrylic colors and color the stud earrings. I used black and silver color in my studs. Black color is an all-rounder color and silver provides it with the necessary shining. After you are finished with the coloring, just apply varnish all over the stud to give it a nice finesse and for making colors water-proof.

Do try this yourself and customize your own pair of beautiful studs.

Happy DIY!!
