Desk Organizer

I love crafting but crafting brings with it the messy table which obviously doesn’t look great. All the crafters will understand this mess thing very well. It will become very important to make your table organized and clean.

Today I will be sharing my way of organizing my desk. There are lots of waste boxes, containers and other things at my house so then I decided to use them for making my own desk organizer. You can use anything that is available with you and can customize in your way. Here is my Desk Organizer!!

Now let’s see the process step by step.

Collect all the waste material that can be used in this desk organizer. Here is the waste material that I collected as shown below in the picture:

Following are the materials that you will require for the Desk Organizer:
  • ·        Water color
  •           Scissor or Cutter
  •           Paint Brushes
  •          Glue
  •          Card Board
  •          Textured Chart Paper
  •          2 Plastic Sheets

Firstly, take containers and color them to make it attractive. You can make any design on these containers. I have colored two containers of two sizes.

Then take the boxes and cover them with black paper. Again you can make any design on these boxes as well.

Cut a rectangular piece from the cardboard using a cutter. Select size according to your requirement. Then cover the square piece with a textured chart paper of your choice. After this, take two plastic sheets of white color and paste at the back side of the square piece.

Start pasting the boxes and the containers on to the square piece with the help of glue as shown in the figure:

Also paste the remaining waste material on the board. I have empty cups of cupcakes and mobile phone. Hence, I am pasting them which can carry small items like beads, needles, eye pins, etc. Also I have written my name on a slip of green color and then pasted it as well.

Your desk organizer is ready and you can now add items to it in an organized manner.

Happy DIY!!
