Chilly Bread

Today we will be learning how to make Chilly Bread recipe. When you feel hungry and also you don’t want to cook something that takes time then this recipe you should definitely try. It is super easy and quick to make. So let’s get started.



Ingredients:

  •  Bread Slices 6 to 8
  • Butter
  • Oil
  • Garlic chopped
  • Tomato Chopped ½ Cup
  • Onion Chopped 1 Cup
  • Baked Potato Slices ½ Cup
  • Tomato Ketchup 2 tbsp.
  • Chili Sauce 1 tbsp.
  • Red Chili Powder 1 tsp.
  • Salt to taste
  • Black Pepper Crushed ½ tsp.
  • Oregano 1 tsp. (optional)
You can use any bread variety-wheat or White bread. Toast the bread slices with little butter on a pan. Keep it aside and let them cool. Now break the bread slices into small chunks with your hands. Use each bread slice as there is no need to discard the boundary of the bread slice.

Take a pan and add oil to it. Allow to get hot then add chopped garlic and sauté it for a minute. Add onion to the pan and cook until it turns into golden brown color. Now add potato slices which I have baked in the microwave. Next add Chopped tomato and let them become soft. Then add all the sauces and dry spices. Add tomato ketchup, chili sauce, red chili powder, salt, black pepper and oregano. Cook this for another 3 to 4 minutes. Now add bread slices and give it a nice mix. Cook it for 2-3 minutes.

Note: you can skip oregano if you don’t have it. Also you can use any other veggies like capsicum, cabbage, etc. Also you can use fried potato slices instead of baked potatoes or you can also skip this ingredient.

Voila!! Chilly Bread is ready and serve it hot. It is perfect for breakfast and quick tea time snack. Do try this and enjoy with your family.
