Mobile Stand

We will be learning today how to make a Mobile Stand. Admit it that whenever you need your mobile it goes missing here and there and we have to search it. Today’s DIY is the solution for this problem and it is so easy to make. Let’s start with the procedure:

We will need cardboard for making this Stand. You can use old boxes for this purpose. First, draw a rectangle of sides 13 cm by 8.5 cm. Rectangle has another small rectangle of sides 9 cm by 6.5 cm whose one side coincides with the outer rectangle. Look at the image below for clear understanding. Cut such 13 rectangles of cardboard. We will use two rectangles out of 13 as it is. Now consider the image second (2) image having dotted rectangle inside the outer rectangle. Cut this dotted rectangle from 11 large rectangles. At the end, you must have 2 full large rectangles and 11 u shaped pieces.

Align and paste all the u-shaped pieces of cardboard with glue as shown in the image. Lastly, paste the whole large rectangles on both the surfaces of the u-shaped pieces. Basic frame of Mobile Stand is ready. Apply the mixture of glue and water all over the stand and let it dry.

Color the stand with any color of your choice. I am using black and magenta acrylic colors. Take an old magazine and divide some pages of it into halves. Roll each half into a thin tube and coil the tube to form a circle of 3 cm diameter. Prepare such four circles of equal size. Now color these circles with black color and make deigns on them using multiple colors. Paste two circles on front surface and two others at the back surface. Mobile Stand is ready!!

The measurements that I have used is on the basis of my mobile but it may vary if the size of mobile decreases or increases. Do measure the sides of your mobile before making this stand. Do try this super easy DIY.

Happy DIY!!
